Adding the configurator to WordPress
Put the configurator on your WordPress site in a few minutes, with the block editor (Gutenberg), with Elementor or with a shortcode.
What you need
- Your company link (slug)
- Administrator access to WordPress
This works with the standard block editor (Gutenberg), Elementor, WPBakery and any page builder that lets you paste your own HTML. First, grab the code for a direct link or an iframe.
With the block editor (Gutenberg)
Open the page where the configurator should appear.
In WordPress, go to Pages and choose Edit on the right page.
Add a block with the plus button.
Click the plus sign to add a new block.
Choose the Custom HTML block.
Search for "HTML" to find it quickly.
Paste the code and click Update.
Paste the link or iframe code and publish the page.
With Elementor
Open the page in Elementor.
Drag an HTML widget to where the configurator should appear.
Paste the link or iframe code into the widget.
Click Publish.
With a shortcode
If you use the configurator on several pages, your web developer can create a shortcode. They add this to the functions.php of the (child) theme:
function meetpiloot_configurator_shortcode() {
return '<iframe
src="https://meetpiloot.nl/{your-slug}/configure?embed=true"
width="100%"
height="800"
style="border: none;"
title="Configurator">
</iframe>
<script src="https://meetpiloot.nl/embed/mp-tracking.js"></script>';
}
add_shortcode('meetpiloot', 'meetpiloot_configurator_shortcode');You can then put [meetpiloot] in any page or post.
Check that it works
Open the page in a private window. The configurator should appear within a few seconds. Send a test enquiry and check that it shows up in your leads.
