A glass sliding wall only goes up to a certain height. If the opening is taller, a transom (in Dutch: bovenkozijn) goes above the sliding wall. With this setting the step-by-step configurator adds that transom automatically.

Setting it up

  1. Open Options.

Go to CatalogOptions and find Automatic transom.

  2. Switch it on per product.

You choose separately for the veranda, louvred roof and cube.

  3. Enter the height.

Under Above which height you enter the height from which a glass sliding wall gets a transom. Most dealers use 2,600 mm.

What your customer sees

  • On: above your height, every glass sliding wall automatically gets a transom. The customer only picks the glass.
  • Off: the configurator does not add a transom. You discuss it at the survey.

The transom is listed with the lead's choices, so you can include it in your quote.

If you use a fixed clearance height, the transom works from that height too.

Who can change this

You need the Automatisch bovenkozijn instellen permission (set the automatic transom), and Prijslijst wijzigen (edit the price list) to open the Options page. Permission names are shown in Dutch. Owners and administrators have both by default.
