Clearance height: let customers choose or set a fixed height
Let your customer choose the clearance height, or always work with a fixed height, for example 2.50 m. Set it for the veranda, louvred roof and cube.
On this page4
The clearance height is the height from the floor to the underside of the front beam. Some dealers supply one fixed height, others let the customer choose. You set this per product.
Setting it up
Open Dimensions.
Go to CatalogDimensions and scroll to the Clearance height card.
Choose per product: the customer picks, or a fixed height.
With Customer picks on, your customer chooses their own height, within the range you enter under From, To and Step. Switch it off and you enter a Fixed height instead. You choose this separately for the veranda, louvred roof and cube.
Click Save.
Your choice applies straight away to new enquiries in the configurator.
What happens with a fixed height
- The configurator skips the clearance height question.
- Every enquiry and every quote uses your fixed height.
- Your surcharges for longer posts and the automatic transom work from that height too.
The range your customer chooses from
With Customer picks on, you decide which heights your customer chooses between:
- From and To: the lowest and highest clearance height, between 2,000 and 4,000 mm. From cannot be higher than To.
- Step: the steps your customer chooses the height in, from 10 to 500 mm. With 250 mm, for example, your customer chooses 2,500, 2,750 or 3,000 mm.
If you leave the fields empty, your customer chooses between 2.50 and 3.00 m. The card always shows the range that applies now, for example "Your customer picks between 2.50 and 3.00 m, in steps of 25 cm".
meetpiloot does not accept an enquiry with a height outside your range.
