Measuring with your customer’s iPhone

Your customer opens the measurement from a link or QR code. They place three points, take a photo, and the width, depth and area go back into the configurator. On iPhones with LiDAR the measurement is at its most precise.

  • Nothing to install: the measurement opens as an App Clip
  • Sizes and photo arrive with the enquiry
  • Share an AR link or QR code with any customer (Plus and Pro)

On Android, customers enter the sizes themselves.

The veranda at full size in the garden

With AR you place the configured veranda or louvred roof at full size. You rotate it, move it and set the height from 2.20 to 3.00 metres in 10-centimetre steps. Your customer sees what they are buying before anything is ordered.

In the meetpiloot app for iPhone and iPad you design a veranda or louvred roof together with your customer, with a live price. You view it in AR and save it as an enquiry. New enquiries arrive as push notifications.

Frequently asked questions

  • Does my customer need to install an app?
    No. On an iPhone the measurement opens as an App Clip, from a link or a QR code. There is nothing to install.
  • Does it work on Android?
    AR measuring works on iPhone and iPad. On Android, your customer enters the sizes themselves, in the same configurator.
  • How accurate is the measurement?
    It is at its most accurate on iPhones with a LiDAR sensor, the Pro models. The AR measurement is meant for a complete enquiry and a sound first quote. You take the final measurements as you always do, for example with an indicative quote first and a final quote after your survey.
  • Which products work with the AR view?
    The full-size view is available for verandas and louvred roofs. Glass sliding doors follow later.
  • Which plan do I need?
    The AR tool for sharing links and QR codes, and the iOS app, are included in Plus and Pro.
