Filling in your price tables
Enter your prices per product by width and depth, choose whether a table is incl. or excl. VAT, and import or export prices with a CSV file.
On this page6
The configurator calculates with your prices. meetpiloot never fills in a price for you: without prices your customer gets no price and no quote goes out on its own.
You will find your prices under CatalogPricing. At the top you choose the product: veranda, louvred roof, glass sliding wall, sunshade or cube.
How a price table works
A price table has widths as columns and depths as rows (for sunshade: width and projection). The price in a cell is the price for that size.
- A size between two columns gets the price of the next larger size. A veranda 5,000 mm wide therefore uses the 5,060 column.
- Your customer cannot pick anything larger than your largest column or row. Your table is the limit of what you supply. See Dimensions.
The legend above the table shows which cells have Your price, which are Empty, no price yet and which are Changed, not saved yet.
Entering prices
Choose the product and the table.
For the veranda, each roof material has its own table, such as clear polycarbonate or clear glass.
Choose whether you enter prices incl. or excl. VAT.
Above each table it says Prices in this table are incl. VAT or excl. VAT. If you enter prices excl. VAT, meetpiloot adds your standard VAT rate for the customer.
Fill in the cells.
Click a cell and type the price. Use the arrow keys to move to the next cell.
Adjust the sizes if needed.
Click a width or depth to change it. Use + Column or + Row to add a size. Use Edit sizes to remove one.
Click Save.
Or press Ctrl S (⌘ S on a Mac). The configurator only uses your new prices once you have saved.
Importing and exporting prices
- Export as CSV downloads the table. Handy for editing in Excel or Numbers.
- Import from CSV reads such a file back in. First you see what will change: which prices are changed or new, and which cells are invalid. If the table has sizes that are not in the file, you choose Leave them or Replace the whole table. Click Take over and then Save.
Letting one table follow another
If tinted glass always costs 12% more than clear glass, you do not need to maintain that table yourself. Read Derived price tables.
For the cube you choose the table per model and glass. With Copy prices from… you take the prices from another cube table, with a Price adjustment in per cent if you like.
When prices are missing
If a product is still missing prices, you see a notice, for example "Your veranda is still missing prices", with the Set up prices button. An empty cell within your dimensions counts as missing: that size gets no price. Cells outside your dimensions do not count.
Customers see a product without any price table without a price, or not at all, until you have set up prices.
Who can change this
To see prices you need the Prijzen zien permission (see prices), and to change them Prijslijst wijzigen (edit the price list). Permission names are shown in Dutch. Without the second permission you can see the tables but not change anything.
