Your price table gives the price for a size. Some costs depend on more than that, such as the height or the number of posts. You set those as surcharges under CatalogPricingSurcharges.

Surcharges are added to the price from your table. meetpiloot never fills in an amount for you: a new surcharge only counts once you have entered an amount and saved.

The two types

Longer posts. Per post, per metre above a standard length. You enter your supplier's standard length, often 2.50 m, and the amount per post per extra metre. You choose whether to charge per started metre, per started step (a step in centimetres of your choice) or exactly, per millimetre.

meetpiloot works out the post length from the clearance height and the product. On a freestanding veranda the rear posts are longer than the front ones.

Extra post by width. You enter the price of an extra post and, per width, how many extra posts are needed. For example: up to 6 m none, up to 11 m one, up to 12 m two.

Wider than your last width

If your customer chooses a veranda wider than your last width, this surcharge cannot be calculated. The quote is then not sent to the customer automatically, so you can check it first.

Adding a surcharge

  1. Click Add surcharge and choose a type.

You choose Longer posts or Extra post by width.

  2. Enter the amounts.

    Below the line you immediately see an example, such as "1.00 m × 3 × € 30.00".

  3. Choose how it appears on the quote.

Own line puts the surcharge on the quote as a separate line. In the roof line adds it to the price of the roof.

  4. Click Save.

From then on the surcharge counts in the configurator and on new quotes.

With Counts and Does not count you switch a surcharge off temporarily without deleting it. The order of your surcharges is the order on the quote.

You enter surcharges incl. or excl. VAT too, just like your price tables.

Who can change this

You need the Prijslijst wijzigen permission (edit the price list). Permission names are shown in Dutch.
