Dimensions: which sizes your customer can choose

Set the smallest and largest size per product and roof material. Together with your price table, that decides which sizes your customer can pick.

In the configurator your customer can only choose a size you supply. Two things decide that:

  1. Your dimensions: the smallest and largest width and depth per product.
  2. Your price table: your customer cannot choose a size you have no price for. If you do not offer something, you will not get an enquiry for it either.

Anything outside either of them is greyed out or stops in the configurator. Your customer gets no notice afterwards and nothing is switched without them knowing.

Setting your dimensions

You will find all dimensions under CatalogDimensions.

CardWhat you set
Veranda, Polycarbonate roofMin. and max. width and depth with a polycarbonate roof (clear and opal)
Veranda, Glass roofMin. and max. width and depth with a glass roof (clear, opal and tinted)
Louvred roofMin. and max. width and depth
Glass sliding wallMin. and max. width and height of the opening
Clearance heightWhether your customer chooses the height, see Clearance height

The veranda has limits per roof material, because a glass roof often cannot go as deep as polycarbonate. If your customer picks a size that does not suit a roof, that roof is greyed out with the reason, such as "with this roof the depth can go up to 4.5 m".

Next to each card is a drawing to scale with your largest and smallest size.

Limits only come from you

meetpiloot does not assume what a supplier could make. If you supply glass up to 6 m deep, set 6,000 as the max. depth and fill your glass table up to 6,000. Your customer can then choose it.

Dimensions from your price table

On CatalogPricing every table has a Dimensions button, for example "Dimensions 3.06-12.06 × 2-4.5 m". It opens the same settings without leaving the page. What you change there also shows under Catalog > Dimensions.

Your price table only shows the sizes within your dimensions. If your table stops before your dimensions do, the page tells you, for example: "Your table stops at 4,000 mm deep, your dimensions go to 4,500 mm. Customers can pick up to 4,000 mm."

A size outside your dimensions

A new column or row. If you add a size larger than your max. with + Column or + Row, meetpiloot asks what you want. With, for example, Max. width to 13,060 mm you raise your dimensions straight away, so your customer can pick that size and you fill in the column.

An existing row or column. If you already have prices for sizes outside your dimensions, they are listed separately under outside your dimensions. Customers do not see those sizes; the prices are kept. You choose:

  • Max. depth to … (or width) to raise your dimensions, or
  • Hide row (or Hide column) to take the size out of view.

Hidden sizes apply to your whole company: everyone in your team sees the same table. With Show you bring them back. Hiding never changes a price.

Other products

For sunshade and the glass sliding wall your price table is the limit too. The width of a sliding wall also stops at the widest rail system you have a price for. For the cube your customer picks exactly the sizes from your cube tables.

Who can change this

You need the Prijslijst wijzigen permission (edit the price list). Permission names are shown in Dutch.
